City Life Church is a thriving, multi-generational, non-denominational charismatic church, alive with energy and passion for Jesus Christ.

What can I expect when I visit?

When you visit us for the first time on a Sunday morning, be ready for a great experience! Our two Sunday services begin at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Before each service, you are welcome to join us for pre-service prayer in our chapel just off the main lobby. Our cafe is open before and after each service for you to enjoy a latte, coffee or tea.

There are lots of friendly people here who will welcome you and help you get settled in the auditorium. Our worship times are powerful, vibrant and dynamic, incorporating singers, musicians, lighting and video. After a time of worship, Pastor Lorne preaches a practical and relevant message, equipping us to live lives full of purpose and destiny.

We know you'll enjoy the many different generations coming together as God's family, the atmosphere of freedom and joy, and the life-changing message of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Please visit the Welcome Centre in the lobby where you can ask any questions you may have, or find out more about any of our ministries or upcoming events.

Where can I park?

We have reserved parking available for visitors and those with disabilities at our main entrance. If our main parking lot is full, we also have additional parking available in the back and along the street on Chilliwack Central Road.

What is available for my kids?

One of our core values here at City Life Church is investing into the lives of the next generation. Our Kids Adventures program is geared toward meeting the needs of all our young ones, from the littlest newborn all the way to our sixth grade pre-teens.

Our supervised nursery facilities, for infants to two year olds, are open through both services. We also have a comfortable, private room for nursing moms. After our time of worship, our kids aged 3 to grade 6 are released to attend classes geared specifically for their age group.

How do I get there?

We have two entrances onto our campus, one on Chilliwack Central Road and another on Broadway. The main lobby is clearly labeled on the west side of the building and an additional entrance is located on the north side of the building.

Why does City Life Church exist? What is it that we've set out to accomplish? A church can too easily become lost in the business of maintaining programs or effective administration. At City Life Church, our goal is that everything we do flows out of and fulfills our purpose statement, inspired by the following verses:

The Great Commandment:

"Jesus said, 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.'" Matthew 22:37-40 NIV

The Great Commission:

"Jesus said, 'Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.'" Matthew 28:19-20 NIV

There are four basic components contained within these words of Jesus and our purpose statement:

  1. WORSHIP - to glorify God.
  2. EVANGELISM - to proclaim the gospel.
  3. DISCIPLESHIP - to develop people to Christ-like maturity.
  4. MINISTRY - to minister in the church and the world.

As we continue to build on these foundational values, we will see a strong, unified and effective church impacting its city, nation, and the nations of the world.
