I’m excited to gather as a group of women to strengthen and encourage each other as we walk through life and grow in our relationship with God. We might focus on different things from week to week but the goal is to walk together, be a support for one another and pray for each other. So, whether you have been apart of City Life Church for awhile, or if you’re brand new to this church, let’s walk this journey together.

This series from 1 Timothy gives us the instructions for the community of believers. We begin by looking at the components of our earthly worship. We learn that our worship is an expression of a heavenly assembly. Then we’ll move further into the lessons on worship by seeing the characteristics of our devotion to God and how this should affect the earthly outpost of the heavenly kingdom we know as “The Church.” There’s a lot to consider as we move into this important teaching.

We are looking forward to both making new friends, and deepening existing friendships. It is unlikely we will be able to hold in-person meetings, so we will make the most of phone calls, emails, letters, notes, and hopefully at some point social distancing visits. Let’s encourage one another, by thinking of meaningful ways to let each other know we’re thought of, prayed for, and cared about.

In this 13-session study on the Book of Haggai, learn to walk confidently in your calling, stay motivated despite opposition, and courageously invest your life in God’s purposes, trusting Him for results you may never see in this lifetime. God’s presence and promises give us courage to press on and trust Him with our story.

Mother Teresa said, “The most terrible poverty is loneliness, and the feeling of being unloved.” There are times in life where we feel alone. We struggle and crave connection. God created us to connect with Him.  Despite what our feelings may tell us, God’s presence is much nearer than we think. In this Life Group, we will be reading and discussing the book of John with the support of Max Lucado’s book and videos called You are Never Alone. The aim is to look through the miracles of Jesus that John writes about to remind us of the close presence and power of God. Participants are encouraged to get the book You Are Never Alone, but not required.
