Local Outreach

At City Life Church we believe that it is our call "to reach further than" the walls of our building and to love our neighbors because Christ first loved us. Our desire is to make a difference in the lives of those in our community: building relationships, creating opportunities, and providing relief for those in need.

City Life Church first adopted Bernard Elementary in 2011 with Afternoon Adventures, a weekly after school program for families who struggle to afford traditional after-school care. We focus on building genuine relationships with students, families, and staff and look for creative ways to fill needs and bless the Bernard community.

We have the opportunity to partner with Youth Unlimited to make a difference in the lives of youth in our community. Youth Unlimited has a history of coming alongside vulnerable youth and their families to provide mentorship and connection to help their whole person. An inherent difficulty in working with young people involves finding ways to help them to access the resources we can make available to them. They may have difficulty getting to and from where those resources are available, and their parents or guardians may have concerns about sending them to, or leaving them at, locations where the parent or guardian isn’t familiar with the workers inside. That is why we are sponsoring a Mobile Drop-in Centre, the Fire-Truck, so we can go directly to them instead of waiting and hoping for them to come to us.

Cyrus Centre is dedicated to guide and equip vulnerable and homeless youth for success and quality of life. Over the years, City Life Church has partnered with Cyrus Centre supporting them financially, tangibly, and through acts of service.
