Why Get Water Baptised?
Water baptism is not only an important step on our faith journey, but a declaration saying that our lives belong to Christ. The Bible urges believers to “Repent and be baptized.” It also says that people came to be baptized to show they had repented of their sins, and turned to God to be forgiven. It’s often an outward symbol of something God is doing internally in our hearts, and we believe that as we are obedient to Christ in baptism, we can live a new life.
